Staff Sergeant Jack Coy's remains were laid to rest Sunday May 26 at Willow Cemetery in Oregon ,Ohio. The U.S. Army Air Corps Staff Sergeant's plane was shot down over Belgium, where he lay for 80 years. Recently his remains were identified and returned to his native city of Oregon, Ohio. The memorial service included the release of Doves, along with a piper, as well as rifle salute and Taps. It was attended by nearly 100 people including President Henry Stobbs and Jim Cooper of the Centennial SAR chapter.
